Fifteen of the nation's top designers will showcase their talents by transforming a historic house in Georgetown, to benefit Children's National Medical Center.

The design house is a free-standing home, currently owned by Skip and Debbie Singleton, Principals of DC Living Real Estate, LLC, and honorary chairs of the event. The home was originally built in 1842 as a one-story schoolhouse for boys. In 1874, a second story was added, and the building became a private residence. Over the past year, the house has undergone extensive renovations. After work by the designers has completed, the house will be open to visitors and will be featured on the Georgetown House Tour on April 26 and the Georgetown Garden Tour on May 10.

All proceeds from the event, including ticket sales and corporate sponsorships, will benefit Children's National Medical Center, a leader in the development of innovative new treatments for childhood illness and injury.
