Georgetown BID Taste of Georgetown Moves to the Waterfront Sept 13

Taste of Georgetown 2014

The annual Taste of Georgetown celebrated its 21st year on Saturday, September 13 with creative tastes from more than 35 of the neighborhood's best restaurants, as well as an expansive Craft Beer & Wine Pavilion and live entertainment. For the first time in the event's history, the Taste moved from Wisconsin Ave to K St, along the scenic Georgetown Waterfront. This longstanding event in Georgetown is hosted by the Georgetown BID and benefits the Georgetown Ministry Center's services supporting the homeless.

More than 70 dishes, family-friendly entertainment, the return of the iron chef-style challenge, bluegrass and country music stage curated by Gypsy Sally's, the first-ever Taste Marketplace featuring Georgetown stores, and the opportunity to keep the fun going with "After Taste Happy Hour," was enjoyed by over 8,000 visitors.
