Ristorante Piccolo, a fixture of Historic Georgetown’s Little Italy is happy to announce that it has finally re?opened its doors since a major fire shut her down in late 2008!

Ristorante Piccolo, located at 1068 31st Street, NW, has been under vigilant renovation ever
since a devastating fire caused $1 million worth of damage that drew over 110 fire fighters and
50 pieces of fire?fighting equipment in late October 2008. Much of the outdoor design and layout
has been painstakingly restored to match the period of the 250 year old building to ensure
it retained its’ historic charm.

Piccolo, which was established in 1986, still features it’s famed second?floor balcony
overlooking the C&O Canal and it’s three fireplaces, but now, in addition, showcases two
beautiful water features, detailed wrought ironwork, unique handcrafted wall coverings, textile
panels and Murano glass light fixtures throughout. Ristorante Piccolo will once again charm you
with its Tuscan gold hues interspersed with soft lighting, romantic music and its warm, attentive
staff.

Under the watchful eye of Chef Arnaldo Rubio, who has been a part of Piccolo's family since its
inception in 1986, Piccolo will continue to offer lively, updated versions of regional Italian classics, daily handmade pastas and exquisite main courses. Not to be missed is the award winning 2008 Taste of Georgetown hand?rolled porcini stuffed agnolotti in a fresh sage and butter sauce. A new addition to the menu will be the Nodino di Vitello all Piccolo ? a 14oz veal chop marinated for 48 hours in their special sauce then pan? seared to order and served over saffron risotto and seasonal vegetables.

Ristorante Piccolo is open for lunch from 11:30am?2:30pm and dinner 4:30pm?11pm Monday
thru Friday, and 11:30am to 11pm Saturday and Sunday, with brunch offered on the weekends.
Piccolo is located ½ block down from M Street on 31st Street towards the C&O Canal and the
waterfront in Georgetown.
