Georgetown Metro Connection - The Express Service

Every ten minutes, from 7 a.m. to midnight, ride the Georgetown Metro Connection, with stops throughout Georgetown.

Ridership is open to everyone! Picking up from the Rosslyn and Dupont Circle metro stations every ten minutes makes getting to Georgetown quick and easy.

New rates for 2009 effective April 5, 2009.   Regular fare is $1.00 each way and 25 cents for Seniors (65+) and ADA passengers.  When boarding at the Rosslyn or Dupont Metro stations, present your Metro SmarTrip card and fare is 50 cents.  Children under five ride free.

Monthly passes are only $30 and can be purchased online from CommuterDirect or in person at the Georgetown BID (1055 Thomas Jefferson Street, Suite L-11) and the Rosslyn Commuter Store (1700 N. Moore Street, Suite 235, Arlington, VA 22209). Call (202) 298-9222 for more information. 

DC Circulator

The red, black and yellow-striped DC Circulator bus links cultural, entertainment and business destinations within the city. The Georgetown-bound route runs from Union Station to Georgetown via M Street and back to Union Station. The fare is $1. For more information visit DC Circulator.

METRO

Take the metro to Rosslyn or Dupont Circle metro stations and access the Georgetown Metro Connection bus.  Fare to ride is $1.00 and 50 cents when you present your SmarTrip card. For more information about D.C.'s metrorail system visit WMATA or goDCgo.

Airports

D.C. is serviced by two international airports and one national airport, Reagan National Airport (DCA), Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI). The Washington, DC Metrorail system has an elevated Metrorail station connected to the concourse level of terminals B and C at Reagan National Airport. Take the blue line towards Largo Town Center Metro station and get off at the Rosslyn Metro station. From here, board the Georgetown Metro Connection "blue bus" to Georgetown. 

You can reach Georgetown from Dulles International Airport by taking the 5A Metrobus towards the L'Enfant Plaza Metro station to the Rosslyn Metro station, where the Georgetown Metro Connection "blue bus" picks up.

If flying into BWI, you can reach Georgetown by taking a free shuttle to BWI Rail Station where you can purchase tickets for Amtrak or MARC trains which will take you to Union Station. From Union Station you can take the DC Circulator or ride metrorail via the red line to Dupont Circle where you can access the Georgetown Metro Connection "blue bus."
