Politico Journalism Institute

POLITICO Journalism Institute is a 10-day program for undergraduate and graduate students that offers hands-on training in one of the largest politics and policy-focused newsrooms in America. Programming for PJI includes interactive sessions, exchanges with industry leaders and mentor pairings. PJI also takes participants behind the scenes in the historic places where national stories are covered, including the White House, Congress and the National Press Club. Participants split time between the POLITICO newsroom, and the nearby campus of American University, where they also are provided housing. All costs for PJI participants, including housing, meals and transportation are covered by POLITICO.
