It bills itself as “the most interesting store in the world,” and now, Showfields is planning to open a new location in Georgetown. The New York City-based company, which functions as a retail lab showcasing various direct-to-consumer brands, has inked a deal for the former Brooks Brothers space at 3077 M St. NW. It promises to bring to D.C. “a new kind of retail therapy,” per its website.
