For all the Francophiles among us, Georgetown’s French market is returning this weekend for its 20th year. The open-air market, inspired by the best of the best in France, will feature stalls from nearly forty local shops, antique stores, galleries, and restaurants.

What’s more Parisian than a French market in the rain? Despite a wet weekend forecast, Georgetown’s French Market, now in its 20th year, is running rain or shine.

Georgetown Heritage’s Chesapeake and Ohio (C&O) Canal boat tours will return for a second season sooner than initially expected. The tours along the Georgetown waterway will resume May 5, but you can book tickets now.

Away is also opening a location in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. later this summer.
