Gallery Opening of Megan Elizabeth and Tara Andris

CD Gallery is pleased to present works by Megan Elizabeth of Art by Megan and Tara Andris this spring in a pop-up exhibition in the heart of Georgetown. Founded by Catherine Dolaher, CD Gallery exhibits artwork by contemporary artists of the DMV and beyond. Celebrate the opening with us on March 28th from 6:00 – 8:00pm. The show will be up until April 22nd, 2025.

This show presents a collection of organic, layered compositions that not only capture the evolving beauty of the artist’s surroundings, but call on the viewer to ground themselves in the natural world. Reflections of dappled light, fresh petals on a branch, gilded clouds against a clear sky; these fleeting moments desire to be noticed and remembered. Led by intuition, the artists reflect nature by abstracting and isolating vivid elements to evoke a sense of deep awe. Perfectly timed with the blooming of a new season, this show is a celebration of spring and all of its manifestations.
