Georgetown Spring Art Walk
Join Georgetown Main Street for a celebration of spring, creativity and art at the Georgetown Spring Art Walk on March 23rd, 2024 from 12:00-5:00pm. The event will feature eight local venues showcasing a diverse range of artwork, including paintings and mixed media pieces plus art workshops and more!
Throughout the day, you’ll have the chance to meet and chat with the artists, learn about their inspirations and creative processes, and purchase unique pieces to add to your collection

Exhibit: John Borden Evans: HOME paintings and works on paper
Description: Painting in heavily layered and incised acrylic, Virginia artist, John Borden Evans’ unmistakeable style is bold, colorful & sophisticated despite its seemingly rustic charm and, whether lit by the sun, moon or stars, light filled.
2. Washington Printmakers Gallery, 1675 Wisconsin Ave NW
Exhibit: Expressive Impressions – Linoleum Cuts and Artist Books
Description: Whether the subject matter is animals or Jacques Callot’s figures, tiled walls or manhole covers, Deborah Schindler brings her unique vision of the world to light through the medium of linoleum cut.
3 . Klagsbrun Studios, 1662 33rd St NW
Exhibit: Collection of Works
Description: Mariano Arrien-Gomez: Movable Mural Paintings: A passionate environmental conservationist, Arrien-Gomez’ paintings are inspired by the wildlife indigenous to Mesoamerica: they are available in many formats, from T-shirts to painted murals that can be seamlessly mounted on interior or exterior walls. Micheline Klagsbrun: Recent Work: Mixed media sculptures and works on paper and sculpture evoking times of transition and memory.
4 . Ally Banks Interiors Collection, 1661 Wisconsin Ave NW

In addition to a wide selection of unique tabletop and home accessories, Ally Banks has a curated collection of vintage, one of a kind artwork. Find moody impressionist paintings, watercolor landscapes and both modern and mid-century abstracts.

Description: Hommage à la Culture will feature paintings by Congolese artist Dolet Malalu in his provocative style of urban art in his first solo exhibition in the United States.

Description: A group exhibition featuring the diverse work of 25 local artists.
7 . L’Enfant Gallery, 1442 Wisconsin Ave NW
Exhibit: Collection of Works
Description: L’Enfant Gallery are currently rehanging and repainting so come and see our mix of modern, impressionist and old masters. The newly hung third floor staircase hosts a number of important historic portraits under possibly the largest Morano chandelier you have ever seen.
8 . Shop Made in DC, 1304 Wisconsin Ave NW
Exhibit: She DC
Description: SHE:DC is an initiative to illuminate women and non-binary entrepreneurs, powered by Shop Made in DC. In March, correlating with Women’s History Month, we celebrate artists, makers and women supporting creative women. We host a variety of events, including a curated art show featuring up to 200 DMV women and non-binary artists, panel discussions, popups with emerging businesses, and a final pitch competition for the SHE:DC Microgrant.
