Halcyon Arts Lab Workshop: Self-Compassion Wrap Doll

During this workshop, participants will create a wrap doll using sticks wrapped with cloth and “dressed” in layers of fabric that will act as a talisman of self-compassion. Led by instructor Erika Cleveland, participants will start the workshop with a guided meditation and journaling to help lead into the intuitive process of making. Resources related to different aspects of self-compassion will be made available, including both the gentle nurturing Yin self-compassion and the more active Yang “mama bear” type (inspired by the work of Kristen Neff). Sewing experience helpful, but not necessary.
