Horror film fanatics will remember this infamous staircase from the 1973 cult classic, which received a historical marker in 2015. Many Georgetown residents prefer to exercise rather than exorcise—using the staircase as a major workout—but movie fans are there to pay tribute to the fi lm. Sure, you can visit the steps any day of the year; but there’s no better time than October.
