Introduction to Modern Calligraphy

Looking to learn something new? Join Lettered by Lola for a mindful calligraphy workshop where you will learn the basics of modern calligraphy. During this interactive workshop, you will: learn how to use a brush pen; the basic calligraphy strokes; how to connect letters; and create a hand-lettered print to display in your home. All students are welcome. Don’t worry you do not have to have good handwriting to participate. Come ready to explore your creativity and have a little bit of fun! Kimberly Lola is a DC-based modern calligrapher and engraver who specializes in workshops, on-site event calligraphy, luxury engraving, and hand-lettered decor and gifts.
