Watercolor Monotypes with Felicity
Saturday. July 1 and July 29 – from 2 to 4 P.M.

Learn how to create easy, colorful monotype prints using water soluble materials and a printing press! We will be using watercolor paint, water soluble crayons, and washable markers to create images on a plexi glass sheet. Once the images are complete and dry, we will run them through the press with a damp paper to lift the image and create a monotype print. This is an easy workshop open to any skill level. Ages: 14 and older; class size: 8 participants.

Felicity Shafer is an intern this summer at the Washington Printmakers Gallery, and a Fine Arts student at Moore College of art and Design. To check out some of her work visit: https://www.instagram.com/fellieannart/
