Live Salon at Dumbarton House: Women’s History in Georgetown
Kick off women’s history month by exploring the Georgetown entry in the new women’s history guidebook, 111 Places in Women’s History That You Must Not Miss! – written by our long-time program partners, A Tour of Her Own (TOHO), D.C.’s first tourism company to focus on women’s history. Join a panel of representatives from Dumbarton House, and their historic neighbors, Mt. Zion Female Union Band Cemetery, and Oak Hill Cemetery, and TOHO authors Kaitlin Calogera and Rebecca Grawl, for a discussion of women’s history in DC’s oldest neighborhood. Hosted by Dumbarton House, the museum will open at 6 p.m. for tours before the panel begins at 6:30 p.m.
