Leading his trio, quartet and sextet, Oskar explores and develops the traditional melodies he inherited from his ancestors by fusing them together with the sounds of his new home – New York City. 45 Riots is a music collective, record label and serves as a hub where some of the most talented musicians in NYC perform and record a multitude of styles. The group has teamed up with Oskar for an exciting collaboration, breaking new ground by empowering Oskar’s legacy and bringing the ancient songs back to life. Adam Mason, bass player and the founder of 45 Riots, is constantly searching for new ways to improve the music scene, working tirelessly to connect artists with the audience through music.
