Love, Georgetown: Valentine’s Day Promotions

Love is in the air! And some cabin fever.

Whether you’re with your best Galentines, celebrating that special someone, or practicing self-care, Georgetown has all the Valentine’s Day cards, gifts and treats you need. Our LOVE, GEORGETOWN promotion features more than 35 participating businesses, and three categories: Sweetheart Specials (two-for-one deals), $14 Featured Items, and Merchant’s Choice (miscellaneous specials you’ll love). Unless otherwise noted, all promotions run from February 7 – 14.

Additionally, DC by Foot is featuring a “Love Stories” walking tour of Georgetown, Feb. 13 from 4 pm – 6 pm. Take a stroll through the neighborhood and hear everything from a true story of Beauty and the Beast, to motherly love, and scandalous love affairs. The tour concludes near the main commercial corridor, so you can enjoy dinner afterward.

Rose Lattes at Cafe Georgetown – Two rose lattes and rose delights for $14.

Heart-Shaped Pizza at Manny & Olga’s Pizza – $13.99  for takeout or delivery.

Bon Bons and Bouquets at Petite Soeur – Enjoy a 12-piece bag of house-made, wrapped confections for $14. On Feb. 12, you can also swing by for Petite Soeur’s Grand Opening, featuring their Valentine’s Day bon bon collection and bouquets for sale by local shop Little Acre Flowers.

Heart-Shaped Pancakes at Martin’s Tavern – Buttermilk pancakes for $14.

Wine Deal at Pizzeria Paradiso – A select bottle of red or white wine for $14 with the purchase of one 12″ pizza or two 9″ pizzas. From Feb. 11-14, they’ll also be offering 9″ heart-shaped pizzas.

BOGO at Beautea – Buy one, get one free bubble tea.

Red Velvet Cookies at Dog Tag Bakery – Purchase a half-dozen cookies, including a red velvet variety, in Valentine’s Day packaging for $14. Available for purchase in the bakery.

 

MERCHANT’S CHOICE

Love Letter Ravioli at 1310 Kitchen & Bar (Feb. 11 – 14) – The special three-course Valentine’s menu includes cauliflower and crab soup, lobster pot pie, olive oil poached halibut, love letter ravioli and heartbeet pasta (you can’t not Instagram it), cutie pie apple pie, chocolate crepe cake, and complimentary X & O cookies and milk, among other dishes. The prefix menu is $65 per person. Beginning Feb. 10, gift bags will also be available for purchase, and come with a cookie tic-tac-toe board, and X & O cookies & milk. Available in vanilla or chocolate.

Cooking Class at Officina (Feb. 14, 6 pm) – Discover Officina’s favorite pasta recipes through an intimate Valentine’s Day experience that begins with a guided demonstration on the art of handmade pasta, followed by a 4-course dinner with wine pairings. $195 per person.

Virtual Galentine’s Day Tea at Dumbarton House (Feb. 13; 1 pm – 3 pm) – This virtual tea includes a a take-home tea box, short lecture on friendship in the federal period, cookie decorating, and craft instruction. The craft is a garland made of upcycled paper hearts. Supplies for the craft and cookie decorating are included in the cost of your ticket. Tea boxes include tea bags, scones from Firehook Bakery, jam, macarons from The Sweet Lobby, madeleines, and an assortment of fruit. Vouchers for free admission to the museum are included with ticket purchase. Capacity it limited; the deadline to purchase tickets is Feb. 9.

Cupcake Assortments at Georgetown Cupcake – Celebrate with beautiful and whimsical holiday assortments, available for overnight nationwide shipping, local delivery, or in-store pick-up. Order online and include a personalized gift note.

Live Music & Dinner at Blues Alley – Specials on bottles of sparkling rose from Feb. 7 – 14, plus a $50 three-course dinner on Valentine’s Day. Upgrade your meal for $25 and receive a bottle of red or white wine.

Signature Menu at Brasserie Liberte – Enjoy an a-la-carte menu and wine specials on Valentine’s Day!

Four-Course Menu at Cafe Milano (Feb. 12 – 14) – The prix fixe menu features veal tenderloin, sole filet, burrata pasta, and berry bavarois, and includes one glass of champagne. $200 per couple.

Four-Course Menu at Lutece (Feb. 13 – 14) – Enjoy a special Valentines Day Menu for $140p/p, with the option to add a wine pairing. Two seatings will be available both nights, at 6 pm and 8:30 pm.

Free Appetizer at Reren Lamen – Free appetizer (under $8) for gals, pals, and couples who dine in.

Valentine’s Day Market at Green Almond Pantry (Feb. 13; 11 am – 2 pm) – Featuring artisan-made goods (local ceramics & hand-dyed textiles), hand-crafted flower bouquets & flower crowns , natural wines & vermouth, brunch food, and some Green Almond takeaway dinner options.

Valentine’s Boutique at Sprinkles Cupcakes – Featuring a decorate-at-home kit, red velvet cookies and cupcakes, limited-time raspberry chocolate chip cupcake bundles, and more.

Weekend of Love at Ristorante Piccolo – Enjoy a strolling violinist, candlelit tables and three roaring fireplaces with the restaurant’s regular menu, plus hand-rolled pasta specials, Friday – Sunday evenings (no violinist on Sunday). On Valentine’s Day, a four-course, prix-fixe menu is available, with Prosecco and a strolling violinist.

Lobster Roll Kits at Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls – Everything you need to make two classic lobster rolls at home, for $35.

Galentine’s and Valentine’s Parties at Crumbs & Whiskers (Feb. 13 – 14, 7 pm) – Grab your friends and join Crumbs and Whiskers on Feb. 13 to cuddle with kittens, while taking Instaworthy pics, listening to breakup songs, and enjoying small bites and drinks. The following evening, the cat cafe is hosting a purrrfect date night. Play with the kittens and get in the spirit with Valentine’s sweets.
