Lafayette Gilchrist’s music draws on the span of jazz history from stride to free improvisation, along with inspiration from hip-hop, funk, and Washington D.C.’s unique go-go sound.

As a leader, Bianchi has toured extensively through the United States and Europe, appeared at numerous jazz festivals and in recent years his trio has opened for Steely Dan for 3 separate east coast tours.

Moving to New York in 2004, Sanders soon found himself a regular participant in the city’s busy jazz scene, creating a formidable reputation while working with the likes of Joe Lovano, Jeremy Pelt, and Esperanza Spalding.

Todd Marcus is one of the few artists worldwide to focus on the bass clarinet as a main instrument in modern jazz with his small and large ensembles.

The “Veterans of Jazz,” Howard Paul (Army), Shawn Purcell (Navy) and Wayne Wilkinson (Air Force), is a distinguished group of musicians who have served their country while pursuing the art of jazz guitar.

Dave Kline (Violin) has performed with Chick Corea, Grammy-winning gypsy jazz guitarist Stephane Wrembel, Grammy-winning saxophonist David Murray (co-founder World Saxophone Quartet), Grammy-winning composer D.D. Jackson, Grammy-winning violinist Zach Brock (Snarky Puppy).

For this show, Dave’s international band includes Grammy-winning pianist Jon Carroll (Starland Vocal Band with the #1 pop hit Afternoon Delight, and long time keyboards for Mary Chapin Carpenter), Lynn Veronneau vocals, Ken Avis guitar and vocals, Buddy Speir lead guitar, TJ Turqman bass, Olaolu Ajibade drums.
