Capital Fringe Festival Starts July 12!
The Capital Fringe Festival is back in Georgetown, Thursdays – Sundays, July 12-23! The festival will feature almost entirely original theater, dance, and unclassifiable productions with a total of 275 cast and crew members, and will take place in two Georgetown locations, with a bar at Powerhouse (3255 Grace St NW) also featuring free live music and community space. Every show is $15 and runs for 50 – 75 minutes.
The theme of this year’s Festival is centered around the adage, “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade!” Lemonade will be available for purchase at all theater venues, and at several participating Georgetown restaurants – from twists on the classic, to lemonade-infused cocktails. Fringe attendees will also have access to dozens of additional discounts. Visit georgetowndc.com/fringe to see the full list of participating businesses. You must show proof of ticket purchase to receive the Fringe discounts.
