Capitals Ceremony at Washington Harbour; Meet the Players!

The Washington Capitals and Washington Harbour are unveiling a permanent plaque honoring the 2018 Stanley Cup Champions on Friday, February 21 at the Washington Harbour ice rink (3050 K St NW). Relive the historic moment when several players swam in the Georgetown fountain to celebrate their win – one of several special events for the Capital’s 50th anniversary. Nicklas Backstrom and T.J. Oshie will be there Friday for the festivities. Wear your Caps gear and receive a discount on ice skating starting at 4:30pm, followed by the plaque unveiling at 5pm. Enjoy a DJ, an appearance by Slapshot, giveaways and more as the Caps rock the rink. Monumental Sports Network’s Alexa Landestoy will host the event.
