Celebrate Black & White Cookie Day

General   •   September 11, 2024

Levain Bakery (3131 M St NW) is celebrating National Black & White Cookie Day with a limited-edition black & white chocolate chip cookie available at the Georgetown bakery for one weekend only, September 14-15. According to Levain, the cookie is like a love letter to the classic black & white, with rich dark cocoa, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and chunky white chocolate bits. It became a fan-favorite after it debuted at Levain’s Flatiron location in New York City, and now it’s coming to Georgetown. Get it while you can!

If you’d rather drink your calories, The Sovereign (1206 Wisconsin Ave NW) is hosting a stop on Lambiek Fabriek’s No Brett No Glory Tour tonight (Thursday, September 12) beginning at 5 pm. Try this special lineup of beers – including the highly-sought after Organic Geuze Natur-Elle 2023, and Young & Wild Fontan-Elle 2022, a blend of young and vintage lambic. Admission is free, and all featured beers will be available a la carte.
