Celebrate Pi Day in Georgetown

Pizzeria Paradiso (3282 M St NW) is celebrating Pi Day on Friday, March 14 by offering a free 9″ pizza (with purchase) to anyone who can recite the first 31(.4) numbers of Pi from memory. No worries if you can’t; everyone will get $3.14 off all large pizzas.

1310 Kitchen & Bar (1310 Wisconsin Ave NW) is also celebrating Pi Day with a chicken pot pie eating contest from 5-7pm. Sign-ups are full but you can still stop by to watch the competitors (all women, by the way). Stick around for dinner and get 10% off pies. If you want your pot pie with a side of the Boss, visit the restaurant on Tuesday, March 18 from 6-9pm for an evening featuring Chris Murray and photography capturing Bruce Springsteen, plus a “Born in the U.S.A.” family-style dinner. Enjoy pot pie, BBQed salmon, mac & cheese and more at the storytelling event.
