Celebrate Small Business Saturday in Georgetown
November 25 is Small Business Saturday – a day dedicated to supporting local small businesses and celebrating communities across the country (while strengthening your arms with all those shopping bags). More than 300 small businesses call Georgetown home – 33 of which are new to the neighborhood this year – comprising 60% of the commercial district’s restaurants and retailers. They are the heart of this community, so let’s make sure we support them!
Gallery Article 15 (1624 Wisconsin Ave NW) is celebrating with a new exhibition by Congolese artist Moke Fils, plus sidewalk specials, 15% off on Congolese paintings from their permanent collection and 20% off on all African wax print fabric homewares, clothing and bags/accessories. At SCOUT Bags (1027 33rd St NW), enjoy 30% off $50+ purchases, plus a gift with purchase, Friday through Sunday. Or head to Shop Made in DC (1304 Wisconsin Ave NW) to sip while you shop, and get a $20 gift card for every $100 spent.
And that’s just three of the shops!
