Celebrate Valentine’s Day in Georgetown

Many of our Georgetown businesses are celebrating Valentine’s and Galentine’s Day:

• Levain Bakery’s Valentine’s Day cookie tin includes eight of their colossal treats.
• If you do want to step it up and throw a little note in there, Paper Source is hosting a virtual Valentine Card Making Workshop on Sunday, February 9 from 4-5:30pm where you can create three love-inspired cards for the season.
• Anthropologie (3224 M St NW) is hosting a Galentines styling event on Friday, February 7 from 5-7pm. The event is free for all AnthroPerks members and will include complimentary styling services from the company’s Five Start Stylist, sips and desserts, a Polaroid station, and a permanent jewelry and charm bar. Find the perfect looks and gifts for you and your Galentines.
• The following week, Veronica Beard (1254 Wisconsin Ave NW) is hosting a Valentine’s Day sip and shop on Friday, February 14 from 10am-6pm. Check out their new spring collection and receive a complimentary bouquet with your purchase.
• 1310 Kitchen & Bar is hosting a Sake, Savory & Chocolate Tasting on February 13 and 14. The special six-course dinner pairing will be created by chef Jenn Crovato and certified sake sommelier Michelle Gueydan. Enjoy a perfect blend of savory dishes, premium sake, and Arcay Chocolates creations. Two seatings are available at 5:30-7pm and 7:30-9pm.
