Dog Tag Bakery Sending Gift Boxes to Deployed Military

Dog Tag Bakery is a small but mighty cafe at 3206 Grace Street that hires wounded veterans and their spouses to complete a program that provides work experience and tailored curriculum at the School of Continuing Studies at Georgetown University. During the day, veterans operate all aspects of the bakery, while also studying to eventually start their own small business.

This year, Dog Tag is partnering with two organizations to send gift boxes to deployed service members. Each gift box will be filled with treats from Dog Tag and coffee from Veteran Roasters, and is available through their online store for those who are interested in donating in honor of Veterans Day. The bakery is also open, with order ahead and delivery available.
