Embroidery Class: Women of the Supreme Court

Celebrate iconic women of the Supreme Court with this beginners embroidery class at Shop Made in DC (1304 Wisconsin Ave NW) on Thursday, March 9 from 5 pm – 7 pm. The class comes with everything you need to create your own embroidery piece. You’ll get to choose between Sandra Day O’Connor, RBG, Sonia Sotomayor, and Ketanji Brown Jackson, then select your embroidery thread colors. Your instructor – Nichole Sorhaindo, founder of The Other Cat – will walk you through several embroidery stitches, with a focus on variations of the chain stitch. Nichole will also show you how to display your embroidery artwork. Your ticket includes a glass of wine. Learn more and register below.
