Free Author Talk with Breena Clarke

Join City Tavern Preservation Foundation (3206 M St NW) on Thursday, April 25 at 6 pm for Recollecting and Retelling Black Georgetown. The event will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Oprah’s Book Club selection “River, Cross My Heart,” as author Breena Clarke discusses how history and fiction come together in a young girl’s story.
