Free Bike Rentals + DC Bike Expo

Brompton Junction (1214 Wisconsin Ave NW) recently launched a new Brompton Borrow program that allows you to reserve up to two Brompton pedal bikes for a free day of use. Bikes must be reserved at least two business days in advance (email bromptonwashington@bromptonjunction.com). The London-based shop, famous for its foldable bikes, opened in Georgetown in the spring.

And speaking of cycling, get your tickets now for the DC Bike Expo on Saturday, September 14 from 10 am – 6 pm at Georgetown Park (3270 M St NW). The Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA) is hosting the event, where some of your favorite shops will be selling used bikes, parts, clothes and gadgets. Ride clubs of all sizes and skill levels will welcome you to their groups, and WABA staff will also offer maintenance clinics, and sign ups for learn-to-ride classes.
