Georgetown Bookstores to Kick Off 2022 Reading

If you’re keeping a low profile at home for the next couple of weeks – or just an introvert who’s been living their best life since March 2020 – visit one of Georgetown’s bookstores and get a jump start on your 2022 reading. Bridge Street Books (2814 Pennsylvania Ave NW) has been a Georgetown institution since 1980, offering both in-store shopping and curbside pick-up. Shop a selection of trade, university, and small press publications, plus well-curated fiction, poetry, philosophy, history, politics, and art titles – in addition to more obscure subject matter. Down the street, Amazon Books is open at 3040 M St NW and carries – well, you’re probably familiar with Amazon. The Lantern Bookshop on P Street is closed this month, but you can stop by in February for used and rare book finds. Happy reading!
