Georgetown Businesses Supporting LA Wildfire Victims

Several Georgetown businesses are stepping up to help L.A. wildfire victims. On Sunday, January 19, 100% of the proceeds from YELLOW’s Pollo a la Brasa Pita will be donated to the LA Fire Department Foundation. Made in collaboration with chef Carlos Delgado of Causa, the pita features Peruvian rotisserie chicken and salsa criolla and will be available from 11am until it sells out.

Lutèce chef Isabel Coss is hosting a fundraising raffle for World Central Kitchen. All proceeds will be donated to the organization, and the winner will receive a YETI cooler, limited-edition t-shirt, and Pascual tote bag. Entries will be accepted until January 19; learn more here.

On the retail front, Veronica Beard (1254 Wisconsin Ave NW) has partnered with Good+Foundation for a supply drive to collect essential health and hygiene items for adults and children, from shampoo to deodorant and books. Learn more and drop off your items in store.
