Georgetown Featured on Netflix Show ‘Somebody Feed Phil’
The Netflix show Somebody Feed Phil is back for its seventh season, and one of its new episodes is dedicated to the DC dining scene – with several stops in Georgetown.
Host Phil Rosenthal kicked off the episode with breakfast at Seasons (2800 Pennsylvania Ave NW), including a heavenly stack of lemon ricotta pancakes. Next was a visit to YELLOW (1524 Wisconsin Ave NW) for – among other things – a lamb shoulder pita that lives rent free in our heads. “Do we need to even go to other places today?” Phil asked afterward. He did, in fact, go to other places, making room for a sky-high pastrami sandwich at Stachowski’s Market (1425 28th St NW). No trip to Georgetown would be complete without a cupcake stop, this time at Baked & Wired (1052 Thomas Jefferson St NW). After proclaiming he normally isn’t a cupcake person, Phil couldn’t argue with the Oreo version from this beloved neighborhood bakery.
