Georgetown Flower Tour & 93rd Annual Garden Tour
Join Georgetown Main Street for the inaugural Georgetown Flower Tour on Saturday, May 13. Visit more than 15 participating small businesses along Wisconsin Avenue and receive a stamp at each store. At the end of the tour you’ll get a floral stem for every stamp you’ve collected, and a floral arranger will be onsite to help you build your custom, fresh bouquet – perfect for a Mother’s Day gift. Tickets are available for two time slots: 12 pm – 2 pm, and 2 pm – 4 pm. There are only a few tickets left; buy them here.
After you’ve made a bouquet of your own, stick around for the 93rd annual Georgetown Garden Tour and gawk at some stunning floral displays. Hosted by the Georgetown Garden Club, the self-guided tour gives you access to eight of the most beautiful private gardens in the neighborhood from 10 am – 5 pm that day, including the Evermay estate – open to the public for the first time since 2011. Afternoon refreshments will also be served. All proceeds benefit Georgetown’s parks and recreation facilities, green spaces, and trees, as well as conservation scholarships.
