Historical Cocktail Tour at The Fountain Inn

Raise a glass to the end of summer and join The Fountain Inn (1659 Wisconsin Ave NW) on Wednesday, September 7 from 6 pm – 8:15 pm to sample some rare whiskey from Frederick, Md.-based McClintock Distilling. You’ll taste 6 whiskeys from McClintock’s signature lineup, their Civil War-inspired Remedy Rye, and a preview of a yet-to-be-released whiskey.

If you can’t make it to this event, you can also book a Historical Cocktail Tour, Wednesdays – Sundays at The Fountain Inn, and experience a taste of early American cocktails as a Spirit Advisor leads you on a journey through the history surrounding each beverage. Drink like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, the way John Suter intended. Cocktails featured include the Syllabub, Fish House Punch, and Rickey (DC’s official cocktail).
