Join Us May 17 for Bike to Work Day!

It’s not too late to join us tomorrow morning (Friday, May 17) from 7 am – 9 am at Georgetown Waterfront Park (K St & Wisconsin Ave NW) for Commuter Connections and Washington Area Bicyclist Association’s Bike to Work Day. Celebrate biking as a clean, fun and healthy way to get to work (or wherever you’re going) and enjoy refreshments and bicycle-themed giveaways – from cupcakes, to coffee, t-shirts, massages and bike tune-ups.

Later in the day, Brompton Junction (1214 Wisconsin Ave NW) is hosting a “Chain Reaction” workshop from 11 am – 2 pm that will provide a basic understanding of bicycle maintenance and techniques to fix common problems.

And on the topic of transportation, DDOT is holding the last community workshops to unveil the final recommendations of the Georgetown Transportation Access & Circulation Study on Monday, May 20 (virtually) and Tuesday, May 21 (in-person). RSVP here.
