New Architecture Boat Cruise

Check out the new Design on the Water: Washington DC Architecture Cruise, launching Friday, September 13 from Georgetown. See DC’s architectural icons, gain an in-depth understanding of the city’s rich and tumultuous history, and enjoy the Federal Capital from a unique vantage point sailing along the Potomac River. An expert architecture guide from DC Design Tours and professional crew from Capitol River Cruises will guide you south on the Potomac with live commentary and fantastic views. Passengers will learn all about the area’s architectural and historical gems – like the Watergate Hotel, Lincoln Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, Pentagon, and Kennedy Center – and some lesser-known landmarks, such the C&O Canal, Lyndon Baines Johnson Grove, and Navy-Merchant Marine Memorials. The 50-minute cruise is available on Fridays at 6 pm; kids under 5 are free.
