New Art Show with Work from Duke Ellington School of the Arts

Cabada Contemporary (1054 31st Street, NW, #009) is hosting a new exhibit, OUR PRESENCE, featuring works by young artists from the Duke Ellington School Of The Arts. It showcases art centered around aspects of Black culture and the essence of being Black, particularly in the context of young adulthood. The exhibit is a celebration of diversity, fostering creativity and delving into the profound narratives that art can convey. Stop by on Thursday, July 18 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm for the opening reception. Artists include Taylor Banks (artwork pictured below), Alex Berko, Kayla Randolph, and Leah Schenbaum.
