New Cafe & Bar in Georgetown

Former Georgetown beer hall Church Hall has been flipped into Clubhouse – a new cafe by day and 23-and-up bar by night. The morning menu includes coffee, breakfast burritos and avocado toast, with Tatte alum Madison Peake at the helm. Evening dishes range from meatball sliders, to smash burgers, and parmesan truffle fries – plus 12-inch pizzas from the co-owner at Slice & Pie and Lucy on 14th Street NW. The bar features natural wines and clarified cocktails, in addition to a large beer list, with $5 – $10 happy hour specials. Clubhouse is open at 4 pm; morning hours and menus will begin on Thursday, August 25.
