New Cafe Opening Inside The Fountain Inn

Beginning Wednesday, May 3, The Fountain Inn – a 1783 Georgetown tavern reborn as a rare spirits tasting room and whiskey bar – is expanding its hours of operation to include a new daytime café. Expect the same cozy atmosphere as The Fountain Inn’s evening program – along with elevated coffee-based classics and non-alcoholic drinks. The café will be open 8 am – 3 pm, Tuesday – Sunday, at 1659 Wisconsin Ave NW. If you’d rather stick to the adult beverages, sign up for a historical cocktail tour and drink like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. A spirits advisor will share the early American history of each drink, from the Syllabub, to the Fish House Punch.
