New DC Statehood Murals in Georgetown

Created by artists @you_are_jah and @dr.rickamortis, pictured above is the first of four new, consecutive murals on the side of 1351 Wisconsin Avenue NW in Georgetown. All are part of the 51st statehood advocacy murals project (#MuralsDC51) throughout DC, with artwork up in every ward before tomorrow’s US House of Representatives statehood vote.

Additionally, another statehood mural (below) is up on the side of ENO Wine Bar (2810 Pennsylvania Ave) by @LisaMarieStudio – the same artist who created the LOVE mural in Blagden Alley.
