New (Not) Pizza Concept by YELLOW
A month after its pop-up preview, YELLOW Georgetown (1524 Wisconsin Ave NW) has officially expanded its cafe with a “(not) pizza” evening concept – a sourdough celebration of Levantine flavors, fired in their wood-burning oven on Tuesdays – Saturdays from 4 pm – 9 pm.
(Not) pizzas include the harissa with spicy cherry tomato, smoked jibne, more harissa, and basil; summer squash with burnt onion cream, green shatta, aged provolone, corn, and smoked feta; soujek with Armenian beef sausage, smoked jibne, pickled chilis, and za’atar honey; and smoked eggplant with kefta, ricotta, fire-roasted jimmy nardello, and urfa chili crisp. The menu also features plates like the heirloom melon, smoked brisket hummus, soft serve, and natural wines and cocktails.
