Shoe brand Nisolo has a new DC location at 3251 M St NW. The store carries men’s and women’s shoes and accessories, with a focus on sustainability. According to its website, Nisolo believes the fashion industry can become one of the world’s most powerful conduits for social and environmental progress – reversing its impact on climate change and becoming one of society’s most effective tools to help eradicate poverty. Among Nisolo’s efforts to be part of the solution, the brand is pursuing 100% living wages, 0% net carbon, and measuring, tracking and sharing sustainability facts, among other initiatives. They have some pretty great boots, too.
