New York Times Names Georgetown Biking Among World’s Best

The New York Times published 7 Great Biking Cities (and Which Trails to Ride), featuring DC (and specifically Georgetown) among the likes of Copenhagen and Bogotá. The 20-mile bike loop that passes through Rock Creek Park and Georgetown was highlighted as the best in the city, converging with the Capital Crescent Trail and C&O Canal Towpath. Hop on your bike for views of Georgetown University, the Potomac, and the beautiful townhomes along the Canal. Nearly 50 public bike racks are located throughout the commercial district, with plenty of opportunities to take a break and spend a few hours exploring Georgetown on foot.
