Olivia Macaron Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month
Latina-owned Olivia Macaron is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a new line of macarons with traditional Mexican flavors, inspired by founder Ana Claudia Lopez’s Mexican heritage. The new collection is available from September 15 – 30, and features horchata, Mexican hot chocolate, hibiscus, and mole flavors. The latter is a collaboration between Chef Jorge Vera Gutierrez of the acclaimed Vera restaurant and Chef Mark Courseille of Olivia Macaron, with rich, smoky notes from Vera’s hand-crafted mole sauce combined with the delicate sweetness of the French macaron. The box also includes a Cuban-inspired mojito macaron, with white chocolate ganache, fresh lime cream, and a hint of mint.
