Open Mic Cabaret at Mr Smith’s of Georgetown

Mr. Smith’s of Georgetown (3205 K St NW) is hosting its monthly Capital Cabaret open mic on Monday, February 10 from 6:30-9pm. This month’s theme is love, so think songs about the romantic, complicated, or unexpected. Get up in front of a supportive crowd, gain confidence and learn technique by watching other singers. The open mic will be hosted by seasoned performers and established accompanists. Singers should prepare up to two songs with music charts or sheet music in the correct key. If you’re not a singer but want a fun night out, grab some food and cheer on the talent. Sign-ups begin at 6:30pm and curtain call is at 7pm.
