Pottery Classes For Kids, Adults

Registration is now open for Hinckley Pottery’s Camp Mud 2021 – a great introduction to working with clay for young potters and clay artists (or just non-artistic kids getting on your last nerve) ages 10-14. Camp begins on July 6 at the Georgetown studio (3132 Blues Alley), with sessions Monday through Friday through August 16. Students will develop skills in throwing on a potter’s wheel, plus a variety of hand-building techniques. All will learn how to make cups, bowls and other simple forms. Register before May 1 for a 10% discount; learn more about their COVID precautions, and book a slot. Weekend and afterschool Spring classes for kids and teens also begin in early April, in addition to adult 10-week sessions that start on a rolling basis.
