Private Canal Boat Charters Now Available!

DC’s only Canal boat is available for the first time ever to host your special event! This unique experience is the perfect floating venue for a variety of occasions, including corporate events, birthdays, proposals, retirements, anniversaries, and more. An after hours special event offers a unique opportunity to host a cocktail or dinner party for up to 40 guests while cruising the first mile of the Canal, available Wednesday – Sunday evenings, or between 9 am – 9 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. Private one-hour evening cruises are also available for up to 60 people, led by our amazing historic interpreters, or charter the entire boat on one of our regularly scheduled tours.

In other Canal news, students, faculty and staff at any school (elementary through college, it all counts!) can book a one-hour guided tour of the C&O Canal for just $10, Wednesdays – Fridays throughout September.
