Elsewhere in the book world, M.M.LaFleur (1344 Wisconsin Ave NW) is hosting a book launch with author Sophie Brickman on Thursday, September 12 from 6 pm – 8 pm. Sophie’s debut novel, Plays Well with Others, follows a mother trapped in the rat race of NYC parenting as her life unravels before her eyes.
