Sketching Workshop at Tudor Place’s Garden

Tudor Place (1644 31st St NW) is hosting Art in the Garden, a colored pencil sketching workshop on Saturday, July 8 from 9:30 am – 11:30 am. Participants will explore summer flora, incorporating brilliant hues using hatching, cross hatching and subtraction techniques. Afterward, impress your friends with your own unique creation. All materials will be provided. If you can’t make the class but still want to check out Tudor Place, the garden is open for self-guided visits from 10 am – 4 pm on Tuesdays – Saturdays, and noon – 4 pm on Sundays. Guided tours of the historic house start on the hour.
