Tree Lighting at Book Hill Park

Georgetown Main Street purchased an 18-foot-tall tree that will be at the base of Book Hill Park (Wisconsin Ave NW & Reservoir Rd NW) this holiday season. There will be an official tree lighting on Wednesday, December 6  at 6 pm – the same evening as our GLOW Shopping Night & Cocktail Crawl. The tree will be decorated with ornaments made by students from Little Folks School, and you can enjoy caroling and treats from the Friends of Book Hill Park. Many Georgetown community members and businesses have helped support the purchase of this new tree; if you’d like to contribute, you can donate here.
