Try Maman’s New Pumpkin Pie Croissant Cube

Maman (1353 Wisconsin Ave NW) is unveiling their new pumpkin pie croissant cube, available for a limited time beginning September 10. It’s filled with rich pumpkin cream, and topped with meringue and pie crust crumbles.

Divine eating experiences continue at L’Avant-Garde (2915 M St NW) with a new lobster prix-fixe menu only available this month. Courses include La Bouillabaisse de Pierrette featuring lobster, mussels and branzino in a saffron fish stew; lobster salad with grapefruit segments and Granny Smith apples soaked in vanilla bean syrup; and a poached half lobster served on the shell, oven browned with Parmesan, turmeric turned potatoes and a tarragon sabayon.
