Tudor Place Reopens for Guided Tours
Tudor Place Historic House & Garden has reopened Thursdays – Sundays, beginning March 3. Advance registration is suggested for timed entry tickets. Docent-led tours start on the hour, with the last tour beginning at 3 pm. Visitors can also enjoy the garden during their visit, and are encouraged to bring a picnic. A model of Federal-period architecture in DC, Tudor Place shares the stories of multiple generations of Martha Washington’s descendants and the enslaved workers and servants who lived and worked here. With over 18,000 objects, including the largest Washington Collection outside of Mount Vernon, Tudor Place sits on 5.5 acres in Georgetown. Visitors 12 and older will be required to provide proof of vaccination upon entry, and masks are required in all indoor spaces.
